In April, Johnny surprised me with a huge romantic gesture;
A 9 day trip to San Francisco.
One of the reasons he chose San Francisco was because my little brother, Spencer, lives there. We spent the week hanging out with him, exploring the city as well as spending 2 nights on a farm, off the grid.

Recommendations:
Where to go: Golden Gate Park
First of all...It's free.
Second, it's epic.
So epic.
It is one of the largest parks I've ever been in.
It feels like you pass from one little world to another.

Off the Grid Accommodations: Oz Farm
Located in Mendocino County coast, 130 miles north of San Francisco.
This was one of the most beautiful coast drives from the city. Johnny and I dreamed up a lot of incredible ideas on this drive.
We arrived to find a quite, lush farm with multiple off the grid cabins.
We stayed in the Newbird Cabin.
It was an incredibly beautiful wood cabin hidden up on the side of the hill overlooking the farm. It had a private deck, cozy wood stove and outdoor shower.
You can also head down to the shared bathrooms and kitchen where they have a double bath room. We spent an evening drinking rose' in the tubs!
If you're looking for a peaceful, disconnected retreat near San Francisco we highly recommend it!
